Blight SMP is a 16+ Java Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server with a rich world-lore and story. A mysterious disease has spread across the realms, a rot consuming each world it comes across. From across the realms, voices call and beckon the chosen, a realm free from the rot promised to them. In a realm described as peaceful and free, is anything truly just so?

Hellooo. I’m Mod Ghoul, the eldritch god of this whole thing. I own the MC server alongside Mod Gabe, and do some of the lore writing and story writing. I also moderate the more technical side of the discord server, feel free to give me a shout when I'm around, I promise I don't bite. Thanks for taking an interest in our smp and story, we hope you stick around to see more!

Howdy! I'm Mod Gabe!! I'm the void and I'm always hungry. I help run the MC server along with Mod Ghoul, and I help out with art and some lore that goes into the smp!! I also help moderate the discord server, so feel free to ask any questions if you're stuck on anything! But if you'd also like to just come and say hi, I don't mind at all! I hope you enjoy what we have in store!
FOOLE'S LAW
To ensure everyone's enjoyment in our server, we've established some rules! Please be sure to follow them. If you have any questions regarding them, please be sure to message a moderator.
1. Use the correct chatrooms for chatting! This counts for VC channels as well.
2. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be kind and courteous to all members within the server, whether they are fans or smp members.
3. Please do not spam the chats.
4. The use of @everyone is to be used only by the owner/moderation team
5. Keep NSFW in the NSFW channels and Blacklisted Chat in its respective channels.
6. Please do not spam @ any of the moderation team or owners.
7. Make sure your media is posted to the correct channels! Make sure to give other creators feedback and compliments before you post your own work as well, as to not overshadow someone else's work.
8. Don't spotlight or purposefully leave anyone out. Be respectful and friendly to everyone within the server.
9. Keep 18+ content out of public chat. Remember that there may be minors within the group, and as well can make others uncomfortable. NSFW should be kept in private dms and nsfw channels and with consenting adults.
10. Any issues between a member and the moderation team should be kept out of the server ooc and in private between the member and moderation. Please keep specific drama out of the ooc chats.
11. Keep all lore and plot speculation in #lore-theories
12. Its a three strike system. After three strikes, you will be on a temporary ban from the server. If you come back and break a rule again, you will be perma banned from the server.

Q: How can I keep up with the SMP?
A: Most streams will be livestreamed on Twitch! You can also keep up to date on the wiki, fan discord, and (perhaps) youtube.
Q: Do I need to stream to join Blight SMP?
A: Nope! But It is strongly encouraged by Mod Ghoul that you do!
Q: Is there a timezone required?
A: No, but there are a few kinks with non-us based timezones that need to be worked out.
Q: What can my character do/be? Are there roles to be filled? Etc.
A: Your character can be anything they want to be! If you're accepted into the SMP, you may be asked to tweak some minor things or flesh out certain aspects, maybe you'll even be asked if you'd like a plot line specific to a major event within the server! But as for your application base, go wild!
Q: Is the Server Modded?
A: Nope. We want a OG Minecraft experience. So no mods.
Q: How many people will be accepted in the first draft?
A: 20 People! Applications may open again in the future for special guests as well, so keep an eye out!
Q: When will applications open up again?
A: Undecided!
Q: Is past experiences with SMPS or Acting required/mandatory to join the SMP?
A: Nope! We're considering all applications that come our way.

REQUIREMENTS
These are things that you must need before you apply or join.
